Dan Aherne, the chief executive of New England Seafood, has been with the company since 2003, specializing in sales and marketing of fast-moving consumer goods. Prior to joining New England Seafood, Aherne worked with Unilever, gaining experience in sales and marketing. His focus at New England Seafood has been on the marketing of wild salmon, a product the company has been selling since 1998. Aherne's involvement in the company's expansion into the UK market has been a significant part of his role, as New England Seafood supplies premium fresh and frozen seafood to various UK supermarkets, sushi bars, and restaurants.
